Abstract

Establishing a dialogue with last José M. González’s book, La diosa Fortuna. Metamorfosis de una metáfora política, awarded with the National Prize of Essay 2007, the present article is focused on analysing relations kept by Reason to what historically uses to appear as its perfect antagonist: Fortune as a synonym of what happens by chance and without control by man’s actions.
