This paper explores, from Husserl’s practical philosophy, the topic of perpetual peace. We argue that, although Husserl made only marginal references to the idea of a “community of peace”, there are enough elements in his ethics to formulate a Husserlian theory of peace. For this, we expose how Husserl develops the idea of a universal community of love, which must be assumed as an ideal of subjects who seek to give ethical form to the world. Subsequently, we emphasize how this ideal must motivate the constitution of a “social movement” in favor of peace, which has an open and expansive character. We conclude by showing the place that the State has within this theory, which will make the contrasts between the Husserlian and the Kantian position evident.
