Abstract

In this work we approach the interrelationship between time, politics and hospitality, taking as an interpretive base the treatment that such concepts receive in the thought of Derrida and Lévinas. The central approach can express saying that, as Derrida says to us, a correct interpretation of Lévinas’s position leads us to admitting that the hospitality is the ethics herself. It thinks, from this budget, that the opening other one that makes possible the hospitality prevents that the subjectivity remains caught in an strategy of impoverishment and of self-reference.
