The article seeks, on the one hand, to synthesize in two blocks, law and desire, the interpretations that Hegel and Lacan made of the Antigone of Sophocle, analyzing their points of connection and divergence; and, on the other hand, take into account the possibility of a joint critique of their proposals and an alternative version of the tragedy, such as the one developed by Judith Butler in her book Antigone’s claim.
