Marta Nogueroles is the first Spanish author who has written an intellectual biography of Fernando Savater, the most widely read philosopher in Spain and one of the most influential in the world. The book examines the intellectual history of Savater from 1970-2000, and distinguishes three stages in that trajectory, from the anarchism of his early years to the enlightened, cosmopolitan and anti-nationalist humanism in his mature phase.
