Remember Kropotkin. Against the competition factor

The article begins with an analysis of the relationship that Hayek establishes between the foundations of classical liberalism and Darwinian theories. In this way, we identify a semantic field that would be decisive for a genealogy of the competence factor, recognising the latter as the main hypothesis underpinning the naturalisation of capitalism. On this basis we offer a revision and update of Kropotkin’s famous work Mutual aid with the aim of invalidating from a historical perspective the understanding of society as a territory of savage struggle between human beings for subsistence.
