Death is problematic in contemporary times. Existentialism is a philosophical current that presents the facticity of mortality as proper to life. The thinker Albert Camus articulates the fundamental pillars of his philosophy around the experience of death, which leads to the absurd, from which rebellious action must start. This research analyses some dynamics that, while trying to flee from death, have only managed to make us weak in the face of it. We will present Sisyphus and Rieux, two of the characters in his writings, as behavioural paradigms that can help make us more aware of the absurd and thus be able to live, love and fight.
