The analysis of the relationships among science, technology, society and innovation (STS+I) has become an inevitable task in contemporary societies, increasingly dependent on technoscience. The interdisciplinary studies on STS+I, which crystalized in Western societies during the last four decades, have experimented recently an important development in Latin America. An example of this increasing interest is the book series on STS+I published by Cambridge University Press in association with OEI (Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura). In this article the first five volumes of this series are reviewed.
