Two recent books of Olivé and Queraltó, both starting from pluralist, pragmatic, axiological, contextual and realistic philosophical conceptions, have reanimate the discussion among moral philosophers and epistemologists concerning ethics and new technologies. Olivé claims for an intercultural ethics, Queraltó proposes a mutual reinforcement between moral and technological values. This note compares both contributions and poses again the problem of ethics in contemporary technological societies
