Abstract

Kantian criticism to colonialism and his claim regarding the existence of a multiplicity of races have been neglected until very recently. However, the blames that Kant addresses to colonial practices of his time waving the authority of right is one of the most current aspects of his thought. In this vein, this paper aims to display and discuss the interpretation opened up by the collective volume Kant and Colonialism. Historical and Critical Perspectives, published in 2014 by Katrin Lea Ypi Flikschuh at Oxford University Press.
